We are a small, hands-on company with many years of experience who specialise only in West Crete.

Our managing director, Frankie Miles, has written the very well respected and top selling guide book, "Crete on the Road", which is now in its second edition, and is listed in the "What to Read" section of an article about Crete in The Telegraph. "Crete on the Road" was also featured in "Greece" magazine, and the magazine commissioned Frankie to write an article on Chania Town for them.
Villas Crete Holidays
All payments made by guests are held in a Client Account in a well known, very secure, British bank. This money is held in the Client Account until the guests have completed their holiday.
Our staff have lived on Crete for many years which means that we have detailed and up to date knowledge of the local area which can truly enhance your holiday experience.
We have very high standards and because we live locally in the main season, we regularly visit all of the villas - not once a year like many companies who do not have staff here full time.
For each property we give accurate and very detailed descriptions that are accompanied by a large photo gallery. This enables you to choose the villa that is most suitable for your holiday requirements.
We have intimate knowledge of all of the villas because Frankie Miles, the managing director of Villas Crete Holidays Ltd., writes all of the detailed descriptions and takes all of the photos herself. Frankie also answers the e-mail enquiries and office phone calls and will be able to answer any question that you may have about the individual properties, and will be happy to guide you to the most suitable property for you if you need advice.
We have an extensive list of local contacts and can be reached 24 hours a day if you have a medical emergency. We work closely with a private medical clinic and local doctors and can make things much easier for you if you have a medical issue.
In the event of a problem arising at your booked villa we have a large portfolio of villas where we can often re-locate you if you want us too (though this may not be possible during high season). If you book direct with a villa owner they do not have this option and you can be left without a villa to stay in.
Our prices have no hidden extras. They include VAT, cleaning, bed linen and villa towels, air conditioning (where applicable), an extensive villa book, a villa copy of "Crete on the Road", and a good size welcome pack. ** However, since 2024 The Greek Government have introduced the Climate Resilience Levy which we are legally obliged to collect for them, and this is not included in our rental prices.
Our free welcome pack is much larger than average and generally includes many items such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, wine, orange juice, fruit, eggs, butter, jam, and toilet paper, soap, etc.
We work closely with an activity company who can book a multitude of activities for you including private boat trips, with or without a captain, fishing trips with a skilled 3rd generation local fisherman, horse riding, water sports, walking tours, cycling, coach excursions, go carting, etc.
Our personal and caring service, with up-to date knowledge of both the villas and the area, means that booking with us will be smooth and easy with peace of mind and a minimum of fuss.
