Aqua Creta Limnoupolis Water Park
Limnoupolis is a very clean and never too crowded water park with a huge variety of pools, slides, a playground, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. There is something for every member of the family, from the more active, to those who would prefer to relax on one of the many sunbeds.
The 65,000m2 water park is located at Varipetro, 7km from Chania, just off the road to Omalos.

Scuba Diving
There are a wealth of scuba diving experiences to be had whilst vacationing on Crete. Beginners can take a “Discover Scuba” day, whilst others can complete a course to obtain a PADI dive certificate. If you are experienced and already have your PADI certificate, there are a number of different dives that you can do including night dives, boat dives, caves dives, and dives to shipwrecks and airplane wrecks. A particularly interesting dive is the one to the “Cave of the Cretan Elephant”. This particularly beautiful cave is filled with red and white stalagmites and is where the bones and molars of an ancient and unique elephant were found.

Families and groups can enjoy inflatable rides, being towed behind a boat, bouncing across the waves, and soaking up the sunshine together, making for an hilarious, laughter-filled time on the water.
Each ride is tailor-made to your request; from fast and exciting for adrenaline junkies to slower and more relaxing if you are doing this activity with younger members of the family.
There is a choice of inflatables including the sofa, donuts/rings, and the banana boat.
Life jackets are provided, and a safety briefing is given before your ride. The boat driver will make sure that you have the maximum fun, whilst always being safe.

Paddle Boards (SUP), Pedaloes, Windsurfers, and Kayaks
Watersports equipment can be rented from the sports station in Almyrida that is run by a company who specialize in activity holidays. Paddles boards, pedaloes, windsurfers, and 1 or 2 man kayaks, can be available on a first come first serve basis daily from 10.00 – 17.00 (dependent upon what the guests of the activity holiday company are not using). To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you pre-book, particularly during high season.
